We met our friend for a little pre-birthday dinner with him, his wife, and his kids. As per usual, I got to chat with the kids, color, and play games while the grown-ups talked (his kids are really fun and respectful and I always enjoy when we hang out).
On the way home, we decided to look for a couple of geocaches. The first we were not able to find (there was nearby construction). But, there is a cute little garden and I'd recommend a stop if you are nearby and need some calming energy: SAINT RITA
Since that was a bust, we made another stop in an area I must have driven by hundreds of times and never known about. A cute lake with a walking path. The promised us ducks, but alas, we didn't see any. We did see little fish in the super clear water, so that was a win. Great stop and very pretty little area: Swimming Ducks
